First of all congrats to the fantastic cover artwork by Dusan Marcovic \u2013 destined for vinyl. After this \u201ceye burner\u201c we are coming straight to the music, which is fine as well. Traditional power metal with ingridients from old HELLOWEEN, AVANTASIA and RUNNING WILD (in the choirs). And guess where this band is coming from? If you think ‘Germany’ could be the answer, you are right. TERRA ATLANTICA hail from Hamburg and \u201cAge Of Steam\u201c is their second long player and their best so far. A concept album continuing the saga of Atlantis in a fictional story. Masterminds Nico Hauschildt (drums) and singer \/guitarist Tristan Harders (also co-responsible for the impressive orchestral arrangements) created a very intense record capturing its listener from the very first second. Harders is not the typical metal shouter like MICHAEL KISKE or ROB HALFORD but feels more comfortable in middle ranges. Excellent job from TERRA ATLANTICA and I hope corona won\u2018t prevent the talented bunch from presenting the album live in the not too distant future. Very well done!\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
