Hats Off Gentlemen It\u2018s Adequate \u2013 never heard of this band with this strange name before. But the duo Malcolm Galloway (vocals and various instruments) and Mark Gatland (bass and additional guitars) knows a thing or two about sophisticated rock, mixed with electronic and classical ingredients. With a little help from Malcolm\u2018s wife Kathryn Thomas, who contributed with her flute on various tunes and added some vocals on the title track, their fifth\u00a0self-released album since 2012 just saw the light of day. The album starts in a rather quiet and relaxed mood but with the likes of \u201cNanobotoma\u201c which offers an excellent guitar solo, the pace increased. The most outrageous part of the 70 minute CD surely is the \u201cRedemption Ark Suite\u201c, consisting of five parts and spanning 20+ minutes. influenced by the novels of science \u00a0fiction author Alastair Reynolds. At times sounding like a radio play, some parts nostalgic and others sounding modern, this suite is the guys\u2018 masterpiece \u2013 but it needs quite a while to discover all its beauty. For fans of PINEAPPLE THIEF, ALAN PARSONS and CAMEL. Hats Off Lady And Gentlemen \u2013 it truly is adequate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
