German-based VANDEN PLAS are continuing with pt.2 of their conceptual story that started with \u201cAwakening\u201d last year. An hour-long \u201cIllumination\u201d brings us into a fantastic musical universe of progressive rock. For sure, this kind of music offers long-tracks with many complex elements. Great to hear that VANDEN PLAS puts out another great recording, their eleventh,\u00a0 in their long time career. They didn\u2019t leave their way \u2013 with success. Fantastic progressive rock made in Germany \u2013 this is \u201cThe Ghost Experiment – Illumination\u201d. From the first second on, a powerful production with amazing songs, perfect songwriting on each song . To name an example \u2013 the 13-minute opus \u201cThe Ouroboros\u201d. There are no more words needed – a perfect song, epic, melodic and full of twists and turns. Every other song is close to perfection in dramatics, too. VANDEN PLAS aren\u2019t a copy of KAMLEOT or others. \u201cThe Ghost Experiment – Illumination\u201d is the best argument and another highlight. It is a special album with so many surprises and theatrical elements. Not to forget the great musicianship. This piece of work is a progressive highlight at the end of a pandemic dominated 2020. Just like the first song \u201cWhen The World Is Falling Down\u201d \u2026 but it doesn\u2019t! VANDEN PLAS created another masterpiece of this genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
