I must admit, I am a bit biased when it comes to VANDEN PLAS. I simply love the band! \u201cThe Ghost Xperiment:Awakening\u201c is their 9th studio album altogether and marks the first of two concept albums. The second named \u2018The Ghost Xperiment: Illumination\u2019 will be released in 2020. Any prog metal lover will know what to expect when listening to VANDEN PLAS. High class muscianship combined with truely professional songwriting and a modern state of the art production. In my humble opinion, the Germans are in any aspect way better these days than DREAM THEATER as there is no wear or corrosion to be found in their music. Need proof? \u201cCold December Night\u201c explodes onto the scene with a fierce metal riff that prepares the ground for a super memorable chorus. Very well done! The band stays absolutely true to their trademark style and delivers another blueprint when it comes to how progressive metal should be done. \u201cThe Phantoms Of Prends-Toi-Gardes\u201d is another winner and again showcases VANDEN PLAS’ ability to combine technical skills with ear-friendly hooks. In any of the songs, singer Andy Kuntz sets the pace for any serious metal singer. Take this, DREAM THEATER! Verdict: Another sure home run for German progsters VANDEN PLAS and a definite must buy for any fan<\/p>\n\n\n\n
