ART NATION is the brainchild of frontman Alexander Strandell. But Swedish band ART NATION have been going through many line-up changes but due to the exceptional voice Strandell, basically the only constant member, and way above average songwriting skills, they belong to the best melodic acts of (at least) their home country. \u201cBlaze The Trail\u201c, \u201cFirefly\u201c or the amazing duet (with amazing female singer Rebecka Hackso) \u201cThe Cure\u201c amongst many others let \u201cTransition\u201c shine and lift the record out of the many releases of the genre although their sound is pretty contemporary. At times though, typical Scandinavian AOR\/melodic rock (e.g. \u201cOpen\u201c or \u201cNot Alone\u201c) can be found but the next moment (e.g. \u201cInfected\u201c or \u201cCracks In The Sky\u201c) you get a totally different, way more modern or let\u2019s say contemporary flavor which not only makes the album interesting but also shows how melodic rock is able to sound like nowadays. Sometimes the keyboards are dominant and the next song it\u2019s the guitar of Sam S\u00f6derlindh which takes the lead. To cut it short, \u201cTransition\u201c is a logical next step if you have the last and highly acclaimed effort \u201cRevolution\u201c (2017) in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
