Wow \u2013 40\nyears together , 25 of them in the same line-up and definetely not quiet! Being\na Mallet fan since the mid 90s, I can\u2018t believe the three piece is in higher\ndemand than ever. Astonishly enough between their hectic touring schedule and\nthe renewed participation in the musical\n\u201cRock Around Barock\u201c, the guys found the time to release a record with all new\nmaterial, their first since 2016. 14 tracks of melodic classic rock with a few\nsurprises (\u201cKing Kong\u201c comes with a rap) and the highlights namely the title\ntrack and the opener \u201cLonely Without You\u201c . Frontman J\u00fcrgen Rehberg sometimes\nhas this special Ian Gillan touch in his voice (\u201cDon\u2018t Cry Anymore\u201c) while the\nwhole band can\u2018t deny their similarities to the last Deep Purple records on\n\u201cMachine Man\u201c; \u201cSweet Little Mantis\u201c . The earthy production needs a special praise \u2013 most of the records\nreaching my desk these days can\u2018t compete with \u201cRock N\u2018 Roll Heroes\u201c. 1996\u2018s \u201cRock N\u2018 Roll Is What We Need Today\u201c\nremains unreachable forever but that\u2018s another really good one by the boys \u2013 on\nto the next 40 years!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
