Release date: 14th<\/sup> February, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n Website: www.facebook.com\/ArchonAngelBand<\/p>\n\n\n\n The problem with new bands from artists such as Zak Stevens who have been part of some all-time classics, very often is that the level of expectation on their new releases may be set very high. \u201cFallen\u201d certainly appeals to the same audience as SAVATAGE and to be honest \u2013 at first, it did not attract me as much as this group\u2019s classic releases at the time when they came out. \u201cFallen” is a real grower though and every time you listen to it, you\u2019re going to find stuff you more and more start to like. \u201cThe Serpent\u201d for example is one of the best tracks which have been released in this musical genre lately and comes along with a typical SAVATAGE-kind of groove which should also work at live shows very well. The singles \u201cFallen\u201d and \u201cRise\u201d are other highlights to mention. ARCHON ANGEL really succeeds on the more epic tracks such as \u201cTwilight\u201d and \u201cReturn Of The Storm\u201d or on the ballad \u201cBrought To The Edge\u201d. Another highlight is Aldo Lonobile\u2019s (SECRET SPHERE) versatile guitar play which perfectly suits Stevens\u2019 voice. As a conclusion, \u201cFallen\u201d comes quite close to SAVATAGE\u2019s classics and can compete with large parts of CIRCLE II CIRCLE\u2019s catalogue but the final, little extraordinary kick still is missing.
