th<\/sup> album of this great Classic Rock, AOR band from Sweden. What started as a fun project 13 years ago from musicians of Extreme Metal bands like SOILWORK or ARCH ENEMY is nowadays one of the leading bands of the AOR scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cAeromantic\u201d\nagain proves that this group can write big melodies and hooklines without\nputting hands on the typical AOR clich\u00e9s. Singer Bj\u00f6rn Strid and his boys and\ngirls are paying tribute here to the big sounds of the late seventies when\nbands like TOTO, BOSTON or FOREIGNER had their biggest hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course, when you are from Sweden, ABBA always is a big impact in your songwriting if you do music like this. Parts of the album were recorded on the original drum kit from the \u201cSuper Trouper\u201d recording sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Songs\nlike \u201cDivinyls\u201d, \u201cTransmissons or \u201cServants Of The Air\u201d are some of the best tracks\nthey ever wrote, but I need to question why the awesome single \u201cSatellite\u201d, released\n2019, is not part of this album. This is a shame!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the day, \u201cAeromantic\u201d is a solid album, but for me not as good as the two previous ones!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
