Don\u2018t let yourself being frightened by the horrible cover artwork because the next before last studio album is one of the best and surprisingly heavy in the long and glamorous 40+ years career of BLUE \u00d6YSTER CULT. The heavy but nevertheless catchy \u201cPower Underneath Despair\u201c is a cracker live (as witnessed on the German tour 1998 with special guest FAIR WARNING) and together with \u201cSee You In Black\u201c worth the money alone. Two former RAINBOW drummers in Chuck Burgi and Bobby Rondinelli (on \u201cLive For Me\u201c) took part in the recording process. The lyrics for this album were nearly completely written by science fiction author John Shirley and suited the darker approach of \u201cHeaven Forbid\u201c. Didn\u2018t think it needed one, but the CD received a remastering treat by Frontiers house producer Alessandro Del Vecchio. If you haven\u2018t got \u201cHeaven Forbid\u201c in your classic rock collection, be sure to pick up one this time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
